If you remember from this post here I promised myself to eat more healthy in direction of losing extra kilos, that stayed after my pregnancy with Zack.
So what happend last week?
I kept promise and I follow the rule number one (from the last post): buying just healthy products - fish, vegetable, fruits, whole grain bread, ... no junk food, no sugar!
The only "sweet" thing I bought was 70% dark chocolate.
Why was this rule good? It wasn't good, it was great!
When you craving at 22h in the evening some sweets, you just don't eat them, because you don't have them.
When you are tired/busy/lazy or all together and you want to eat junk food (chips, salty crackers, donuts, biscuits,..) just to eat something, you don't, because again, you don't have them.
Cool, right? Read on... When you are thirsty and you want to drink Coca or some other sweet juice (just to replace the sweets that you don't have), you don't, because... of course, you don't have it!
Believe me, this make change - because instead of eating sweets, I ate apple or banana, instead of eating junk food, I ate a salad... and so on.
Rule number two was: make it tasty and attractive!
Admit that automatically when you imagine healthy food you think of something that taste boring, like something that it's just not so funny to eat. Broccoli, Salad, Fish, Seeds, ... No go, right?
But that's just not true... Healthy food can be really tasty and you really can get so use to it that it can became your everyday meal. All you need is just a little bit of imagination and figure it out what works for you!
I, just like you, didn't have idea what to cook, how to prepare tasty healthy food, so I went on Instagram and type "healthy food" and got a dozens of great ideas! Do it!
However stupid it sounds but food to me, just has to look good... it has to attract me to have a lust to eat it.. (it must have connection with my love for esthetic, lol) and with colorful vegetable and fruit is so easy to do that. Try it!
If you can't resist, make a compromise - rule number three.
It's just not so easy to change your habits in one day and it would be stupid to do so... because it would take the hell of a lot of discipline to make it work.
So, I allowed myself a day in a week (Sunday) when I can eat what I want - of course I am not gonna just sit on the floor in the kitchen, hidden behind the table and eating Nutella with the spoon, but yes I will eat pizza if I crave it all week or I am gonna eat Igor's pancakes if he will be so nice, to make them for me, lol.
At the same time making compromises means also that if I really crave something sweet, I am gonna try to find healthy solution.
Like we did the other night... we both, Igor and me, crave so much some sweets that I made them - bananas and mandarins dipped in dark chocolate. And god knows, we smashed them in a minute! :)
The rule for this week will be hydration - my big problem.
Breakfast: Müsli + 0%fat Quark cheese + Blueberries
Zajtrk: Müsli + skuta (0%mascobe) + borovnice
Dinner: Salad with eggs + tuna fish + paprika + corn + onion + avocado
Vecerja: Solata z jajci + tuno + papriko + koruzo + cebulo + avokado
Breakfast: 0%fat Quark cheese + Müsli + Kiwi
Zajtrk: Skuta + Müsli + Kivi
Prepared raw vegetable to be cooked in wok for lunch: paprika + carrot + onion
Pripravljena zelenjava za kuhanje v voku, kot priloga k mesu za kosilo: paprika + korenje + cebula
Lunch: Vegetable from vok (look above)+pieces of turkey+salad+tomatoes+cottage cheese with herbs
Kosilo: zelenjava iz voka (glej zgoraj)+koscki purana+motovilec+paradizniki+cottage cheese z zelisci
Breakfast: Whole grain bread+salad+smashed avocado+egg
Zajtrk: Polnozrnat kruh+motovilec+stlacen avokado+jajce
Dinner: Salad+eggs+tuna fish+corn+onion+brown beans
Vecerja: Motovilec+jajca+tuna+koruza+cebula+rjavi fizol
Breakfast: Fresh squeezed orange juice, Wasa crackers+smashed avocado+tomatoes+turkey
Zajtrk: Sveze stisnjen pomarancni sok, Wasa krekerji+stlacen avokado+paradizniki+puranja salama
Lunch: Baked Salmon + Vegetable: green beans+carrots+peas+cauliflower
Kosilo: Pecen losos + zelenjava: strocji fizol+korenje+grah+cvetaca
Breakfast: Whole grain bread+Mozzarella cheese+Tomatoes+Turkey
Zajtrk: Polnozrnat kruh+Mozzarella sir+paradizniki+puranja salama
Dessert: Mandarins dipped in dark chocolate (70%cacao)
Desert: Mandarine oblite z temno cokolado (70% kakava)
Dessert: Bananas dipped in dark chocolate and rolled in coconut flour
Desert: Banane oblite z temno cokolado, posipane z kokosovo moko
